Our team embodies the vibrant spirit and rich cricketing heritage of Kochi, a city passionate about the game and its players.

Under the leadership of our fearless captain and IPL veteran Basil Thampi, the Blue Tigers combine experience and youthful energy. With a dynamic squad of emerging talents and seasoned professionals, we’re ready to make our mark in the cricket world, aiming for victory, new benchmarks, and the hearts of fans.

A Historic Giveaway: Dhoni-Signed Bat & Ball, Gifted by Akhil Marar!

In November 2024, Kochi Blue Tigers thrilled fans with a special giveaway, a bat and ball signed by MS Dhoni, graciously provided by Akhil Marar, acclaimed movie director, Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5 winner, and popular social media influencer.

The bat and ball, awarded to one lucky fan through a fun contest, was more than just a prize; it was a token of appreciation for the support the team has received. A big thank you to Akhil Marar for making this dream come true. We look forward to more memorable moments with our fans!

In a significant development, the Kochi Blue Tigers are now proudly associated with the Celebrity Cricketers Fraternity (CCF). This collaboration underscores the team’s commitment to promoting cricket at all levels and supporting the fusion of sports and entertainment in Kerala.

By partnering with CCF, the Kochi Blue Tigers aim to foster camaraderie among artists and provide a platform for celebrities to showcase their cricketing talents, further enriching the state’s vibrant cultural and sporting landscape.

Blue Tigers Empower Cricket Enthusiasts with Advanced Sidearm Workshops

Blue Tigers proudly hosted the Advanced Sidearm Workshops in Kochi, led by Gabriel Ben, a renowned throwdown specialist from Royal Challengers Bangalore, this two day event attracted 200+ participants for both beginners and experienced throwers. The workshop featured comprehensive sidearm training, video analysis sessions, and interactive activities, aiming to enhance participants’ skills and understanding of cricket throwdowns.

LMS Debuts in Kerala with Star-Studded CCFPL 2025

In April 2025, the Kochi Blue Tigers proudly hosted Kerala’s first-ever Last Man Stands (LMS)-affiliated event, the Celebrity Cricketers Fraternity Premier League (CCFPL). Held at St. Paul’s College Ground, the tournament featured 12 franchise teams comprising celebrities and cricketing enthusiasts from across the state.

LMS is a globally recognized, fast-paced 8-a-side cricket format played over 2 hours, complete with global player and team rankings. The format is endorsed by cricket legend AB de Villiers, who serves as its global brand ambassador, and was co-founded by Bjorn Briggs.This landmark event marked a fusion of entertainment and competitive cricket, further strengthening Kerala’s grassroots cricketing scene with a touch of glamour and innovation.
